Mexico City

I'm arrived safely in Mexico City. After an alcoholic night with Kelly in Milwaukees Hofbraeuhaus, I took the Bus from Milwaukee Airport to Chicago O'Hare. My flight with Aeromexico was the best until now because the legroom was the best I ever had, also the Mexicans are so tiny. My hostel is directly in the Center and I have a beautiful view ovr the old ancient innercity. If I'd be a butterfly, I'd just fly..lol

I have two german roommates, that are really nice and they gave me hints for my further travel plannings.

The second day, I went to Teotihuacan. After we made a little citytour to Tlatelolco and la Basilika Guadalupe, we headed to the Pyramids. But before we climbed them, we had a local guy explain us the Agaveplant. We had Pulque, Tequilla and Mescaltequilla. Then we climbed the Pyramids, which are really bigger than I had ever expected.

On our way the travel guid showed us Mexico City and gave us some fried Grashoppers with Lemon to eat, which tasted like potatochips. The Hostel included this tour an a lunch, but the also offer breakfast and dinner in a very high quality.
Overall I'm pretty surprised about the cheap offer.

The third day, I went with Friederike and Ekki to the National Anthropology Museum. We had to make our way through the mexican subway system to the museum. We spent the whole day there and could even have spent more time.
In the evening 5 new roomates joint my place. 4 english girls and one mexican. the mexican is pretty cool, but the english girls smelled really bad. But that doesn't bother me, but Rey the mexican kid from Juarez.

That night Rey figured out we have the same route for the next 4 days and so he talked to some chilenean girls and I met another german girl. Also 3 spanish guys went with us buying some rum, that we had on the rooftop of our hostel, under the eyes from a mexican military guy, that was hiding on the Palacio Gobierno on the other site of the road. We didn/t see him until he used his night binocular, which reflected a little red light. He probably didn't have anything to do.

Today, I went to the Templo Mayor and the Cathedral, which were really nice places. After that I chilled out on the Zocalo and watch aztec tancers and drummers. It's the hottest day so I make siesta right now.
