After working 3 weeks in Adelaide and staying in the city, I will move to the Hills were my job is at to my boss. He offered me to stay with him and teach his son german.
I'm planing to work another 3 weeks and then travel around Australia. About now, life is coming back to old habits that I wanted to give up by traveling. It's starting getting boring to work the same procedures every day and nothing really moves and I'm getting to lazy and comfortable with the situation.
But I need the money, (money the root of the evil:-)) and I probably can enjoy traveling even more than before.
Nothing really happened during the last weeks beside sawing wood, gluing and nailing it together.

Mahlzeit
Hi,

G'Day
After spending 4 days in Sydney, I had to leave the city. Compared to New-Zealand it was really stressy and the hostel atmosphere wasn't really inviting.
I tried to collect information on my travel plans and on the possibility to get a job without a work and travel visa. But it turned out that the people didn't have no clue what they were talking about. I decided to leave Sydney to head towards the Westcoast, because it is not a Ballermann(party) place like the Eastcoast and the jobs are supposed to be better paid.
So, I took the bus from Sydney to Melbourne and met two german girls on the bus, one from Saxony (Sachsen) and one soccerplaying lesbian from Stuttgart. Once we arrived in Melbourne we exchanged telefonnumbers because all of us wanted to travel further on to Adelaide. After seeing Melbourne for one day, I decided that I had to leave the city as soon as possible because it annoyed me. So I arranged a rental car and called the girls if they want to come along and share the costs.
We drove down the Great Ocean Road and watched the sunset and the sunrise at the 12 Apostels and went further on to the Grampians National Park. These days were really great, because we got to see some landscape and animals. Our first Kanguruhs, Emus, Parrots and other birds with weird sounds and colors.
The trip ended after 3 days in Adelaide. Here I finally got Hardcore Maethes old work connection and everything worked out, so that I can start on Tuesday building wineboxes in the Adelaide Hills. Thanx Maethe!!
Adelaide is so far my favorite city, it's not that hectic and in my opinion it has the charme that those really big cities like Melbourne and Sydney don't have.
I'm now staying here for a month. In the mean time, I tried to change my flight from China to India, but the travel agency is making trouble, so I probably have to go to China. But I'll see..
Other good news are that I can see the european soccer championships. Every morning from 1:45h on the pub around the corner shows all matches!!! Yippi!!!
