Shimla-Manali

Finally I left New Delhi with incredible impressions from India. I went by train to Kalka, where I wanted to take the tpytrain up to Shimla. But because of landslides the train couldn't go, so I took a taxi with 2 other english guys to the capital of Himachal-Pradesh.

Expecting a chilled out town, I got dissapointet..It was as crowded as everywhere else. The next day I made a bus tour through the Shimla area.

The next morning the hotelmanager wanted to rip me off, and charge me a second time, but not with me...I had to run to catch my bus to Manali.

On the bus to Manali I met Jef and had one of the greatest trips on my travels. Beautiful landscape combined with an adventurous busdrive.

Arriving in Manali was like Christmas and New Years eve on the same day...it was so relaxed compared to the other India I have seen so far.
Me and Jef shared a room and went up to the Rohtang Pass (ca.4000m above sea level).

Tonight I will leave for Dharamsala and then turn beack to Delhi, where my flight leaves.
